Through generous donations from Teamsters and other affiliates throughout Illinois and Indiana, Joint Council 25 raised over $70,000 for Senator Cullerton’s Campaign.
During the event, Senator Cullerton expressed his deep appreciation for the support, and that he looks forward to continuing representation of DuPage County in the Illinois General Assembly.
“The turnout and amount of donations was astounding,” said Terrence J. Hancock, President of Joint Council 25. “We have total faith in Tom as an upright and honest citizen and as a reliable and concerned State Senator.”
Before being elected to the State Senate, Senator Cullerton was the Village President of Villa Park. During his service as village president, he added jobs, balanced the town’s budgets and fully funded its pension system.
As State Senator, Cullerton has streamlined DuPage County’s government affairs in order to save tax payer dollars. A Veteran and family man, Senator Cullerton fiercely defends the rights of working families through his legislation. He has served as Illinois State Senator since 2013.
